Union Cabinet Clears 7th Pay Recommendations

New Delhi: Recommendations of 7th Pay Commission might get clear today by Union Cabinet. This will bring lots of happiness on the faces of central government as well as railway employees. It is expected that if recommendations of 7th pay commission have been implemented, central government employees might get a salary hike of at least 23.5 percent.

7th Pay Commission will affected salary and allowances of more than one crore central govt. employees. Out of which 50 lakh are current central government employees and 58 lakh will be pensioners.

7th Pay commission implementation will put extra burden of rupees 1.02 lakh crore on central government every year which is close to 0.7 percent of total GCP of India.

It is also expected that salary hike of 23.5 percent after implementation will be that lowest hike in comparison to last seven decades. The recommendations of 7th pay commission are likely to implement from 1st January 2016. It is expected that 7th pay commission recommendation will increase basic pay by 14.27 percent.
