Timings to two trains operating between Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram will change from August 21 to September 13.

This is due to the track maintenance work to be taken up by Southern Railway in the Kottayam section between Etumanur and Tiruvalla stations of Thiruvananthapuram Division during this period, except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hence, the timing of train No. 16347, Thiruvananthapuram Central - Mangaluru Express will be rescheduled by 45 minutes. It will start from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 9.25 p.m. In the return direction, train No. 16348, Mangaluru - Thiruvananthapuram Express is likely to be detained by 25 minutes at Ettumanur station on four days till August 25.

Both these trains will follow regular schedule on Fridays and Saturdays as there will be no maintenance work, a Southern Railway release said.
