Changes in timings of passenger trains

The Salem Railway Division has announced temporary changes in the operation of passengers in Salem – Vridhachalam section on August 31, September 4 and 7 due to the ongoing works on the construction of limited use subways replacing the unmanned level crossings at five points. According to a press release of the Salem Railway Division issued here on Tuesday the following temporary changes will be in force in the operation of passenger trains in between Ethapur and Minnampalli railway stations on August 31 and September 4:

Train No. 76850 Salem – Vridhachalam passenger will be rescheduled to leave Salem Junction at 4 p.m. instead of the scheduled departure of 9.50 a.m.

Train No. 76849 Vridhachalam – Salem passenger will be rescheduled to leave Vridhachalam junction at 7.45 p.m. instead of the scheduled departure of 1.30 p.m. and the train will arrive at Salem Junction at 11.15 p.m.

Train No. 76848 Salem – Vridhachalam passenger will be rescheduled to leave Salem Junction at 11.45 p.m. instead of the scheduled departure of 6.30 p.m.

Train No. 56513 Karaikal-Bengaluru passenger is rescheduled to leave Karaikal at 7.40 a.m. on August 31 only instead of scheduled departure of 3.40 a.m.

Train No. 56514 Bengaluru – Karaikal passenger will be detained at Salem till 4.15 p.m. instead of scheduled departure at 1 p.m.

The following temporary changes will be effected in the operation of trains on September 7:

Train No. 76850 Salem – Vridhachalam passenger will be rescheduled to leave Salem at 4.15 p.m. instead of scheduled departure of 9.50 a.m.

Train No. 76849 Vridhachalam – Salem passenger will be rescheduled to leave Vridhachalam at 8.30 p.m. instead of scheduled departure of 1.30 p.m. and it will arrive at Salem Junction at 11.40 p.m.

Train No. 76848 Salem – Vridhachalam passenger will be rescheduled to leave Salem at 11.45 p.m. instead of scheduled departure of 6.30 p.m.

Train No. 56513 Karaikal – Bengaluru passenger will be detained at Vridhachalam and will depart at 2 p.m. instead of the scheduled departure of 10 a.m.

Train No. 56514 Bengaluru – Karaikal passenger will be delayed at Salem till 4.30 p.m. instead of scheduled departure of 1 p.m.
