Silchar-Karimganj passenger trains

Silchar, June 12 - Passenger train service from Silchar to Karinganj will start on a daily basis from Monday, said Biplab Das, station superintendent of Silchar railway station.

“The train to Jiribam which will leave from Silchar on June 13 at 4 pm will be linked to Karimganj. The train will reach Jiribam station at 6:30 pm for night halt. On the next morning, it will leave the station for Silchar at 5:30 am and will reach at 7:45 am. The same train will start for Karimganj at 8:15 am and reach at 10 am. Passengers from Jiribam willing to travel to Karimganj can board on the train every day,” Das said.
